Oct4, Sox2, and Klf4 (also known as OSK) have been studied in the context of cell rejuvenation and anti-aging research. These transcription factors play a critical role in the regulation of stem cell self-renewal and pluripotency, and their ability to induce pluripotency in somatic cells (induced pluripotent stem cells, iPSCs) has led to research into their potential for rejuvenation of aged or damaged cells.

In particular, the ability of OSK to reprogram somatic cells into an embryonic-like state has led to studies investigating their ability to reverse aging-associated cellular changes and potentially improve tissue function in age-related diseases. However, more research is needed to understand the full potential of OSK in rejuvenation and the safety concerns of its application.
